Working with jumps, segnos and codas
It’s common, especially in songs, to have repeated sections that "leap frog" to and from various endings throughout the score. These "jumps" (or Voltas) use an italicized shorthand (e.g. d.c.al segno, d.c.al coda, Coda, To Coda, etc.). Here is how to work with jumps in SmartScore …
Jump symbols are found in the Barlines & Repeats category of the Symbol Selection window . SmartScore will respond properly to jumps during playback provided they are entered properly. It›s important that the "threads" that link jump symbols together are logically connected so they don›t end up creating a "bowl of spaghetti".
How it works …

Jump symbols are attributes of barlines. You insert them by clicking on the barline where the jump either starts or finishes.2
Jump symbols can be relocated to avoid collisions in Nudge mode. Hold the key down, click into the handle below the symbol and drag to reposition.Animation (0:33) - Working with jumps, segnos and codas
