Recognition Options

You may or may not want to recognize specific elements in your scanned score. The Options tab in the Begin Recognition window contains a list of those elements; some of which are selected and some which are ignored by default. In general, the selected defaults should simply be accepted.

Text, Lyrics and Chord Symbols (no Fingerings)

Text, Lyrics, Chord Symbols and Tuplets (limited to Triplets, no Fingerings)

Text, Lyrics and Lyrics below last line (no Chord Symbols, no Fingerings)

Tablature and Fingerings (no Chord Symbols, no Lyrics)

Percussion staves (in standard notation, see Drums & Percussion)

Text, Lyrics, Chord Symbols and Coda fragment (split systems, no Fingerings)

Fingerings (no Chord Symbols, no Lyrics)

Pedals and Bowings

 

Don't forget …

Check the last box for scores with tablature, percussion staff lines and split systems (Coda fragments).
