Limits Tab

The Limits tab inside the Transposition dialog allows you to limit transposition by applying it over a range of measures or by focusing it on a single part or contrapuntal voice.
How it works …

Open the Transposition dialog. Select the
Transposition button located in both the
Note Editor and
Playback toolbars. The
+ combination on your keyboard also opens the dialog as well as from the menu selection.

What do you want transposed ? Choose to transpose by "Clef", by "Key" or simply by "Pitch" and make the desired settings.

Choose the
Limits tab to limit the range and/or parts that you want to be applied during transposition.
Examples …
1. Limit transposition to a single part
2. Limit transposition to a range of measures
3. Limit pitch transposition to a single voice only
4. Limit transposition to a selected range
