Keyboard shortcuts (Quick Keys map)
Using keyboard shortcuts will make editing quick and easy.
We recommend positioning the index finger of your left hand over the "C" key. Naturally, your middle finger will fall on the "X" key, your ring finger on the "Z" key and small finger on the SHIFT button. These key correspond to SmartScore’s basic editing modes:

The most useful of all the keyboard shortcuts is Quick-Select (Ctrl + left click). Clicking on any existing symbol (note, rest, key signature, clef) will select that symbol for inserting or deleting.
